Admissions Policies and Requirements

BRSC is here to serve both the student and the community. Flexibility and growth are essential to this service. We accept students upon completion of a personal interview at our campus which is conveniently located just North of I-12 at Airline Highway.

BRSC has specific admissions criteria of which we expect the student to show they can meet these requirements before we are able to accept their application for enrollment. We offer 4 diploma programs in the first year which serve as prerequisites for our Two-Year Associate of Occupational Degree programs. Be sure to read our general admissions requirements below as well as the full catalog when you visit our campus for your appointment.

Admissions Procedure

The following Admissions Process applies to all potential students:

v  The applicant will schedule an appointment with the Admissions Representative to review the programs offered and discuss the needs and expectations of the student to determine the most productive path to meet their needs.

v  The applicant is given a tour of our facility.

v  The applicant will complete the Application for Admissions and receive a copy of our catalog.

v  Student must submit their High School Diploma or GED.

v  Upon acceptance to BRSC the applicant will complete the Enrollment Contract which includes fee details and tuition information.

Required Documentation for Admission consideration:

The following documentation from the student is required for admission to BRSC programs:

v  All applicants MUST have a High School Diploma, GED, or Homeschool Diploma from the state in which it was issued.

v  Transcripts from other postsecondary institutes must be presented for review for transfer of credits prior to acceptance.

v  Copies of Driver’s License and Social Security Card will be made during your visit to the school for your Admissions appointment.

v  Final acceptance is determined by the School Director upon completion of all requirements.


Registration of students is necessary after notification of acceptance. Schedules will be issued at orientation and all financial arrangements must be completed prior to the start date of the course. An $150 registration fee is required.
